Deformation calculation method of viscoelastic body

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system of calculating a deformation in a viscoelastic body at a high speed while securing an accuracy. ;SOLUTION: In calculation, a conventional method of solving an equilibrium equation describing a dynamic equilibrium at each of discrete times is replaced by a method of solving an equation derived from such a condition as to minimize a deviation from the dynamic equilibrium equation over all time in each time step. A deviation from the dynamic equilibrium equation over all time in each time step is computed and used as an index to control the time step.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
