PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorbing material capable of assuring easy execution of work and capable of providing a high sound absorbing performance, durability, weather resistance, incombustibility and an effect of absorbing NOx contained in exhaust gas of automobile even in a state where the execution of work is impossible or work conditions are severe for the conventional forming and sound absorbing material. ;SOLUTION: 50 to 300 pts.wt. of cement, 100 to 500 pts.wt. of lightweight aggregates, 50 to 130 pts.wt. of water, 2 to 100 pts.wt. of titanium dioxide having anatase-type crystal structure are contained in this sound absorbing material, thereby containing in total cement, lightweight aggregate, water, titanium dioxide and various admixtures. In this case, air bubble volume ratio in the sound absorbing material before spraying work is 20 to 80% and the percentage of void in the sound absorbing material after the work is 10 to 50%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
