PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a terminal device to provide only information that is needed by a user in a push type data distribution service such as data broadcasting. ;SOLUTION: The terminal device is provided with a data stream receiving means 104 which receives a data stream including a data body and information about data attributes, a data attribute extracting means which extracts the information about the data attributes from the data stream received by the means 104, an attribute information comparing means which compares information about the data attributes extracted by the data attribute extracting means with information about user's attributes that are preliminarily designated by a user and a data storing means 108 which stores a data body included in the data stream based on comparison results by the attribute information comparing means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
