PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To gather activity data relating to products displayed inside a sales shop so as to promote sales ability. SOLUTION: This system 10 for gathering the activity data to the products 12 displayed inside the sales shop is provided with at least one transaction terminal 18 for identifying the product presented for purchase and printing a detailed receipt and at least one remote price verifier 20 for verifying the price of the product independent of the terminal 18. In this case, purchase data from the terminal 18 are preserved in a data base 26b and verification data from the verifier 20 are preserved in the other data base 26c. The comparison of the data of the purchase and verification for a specified product is usable for improving the sales ability.
