PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with both construction methods by use of a set of leader pipe by installing a high density slurry shield method unit and a slurry shield method unit while alternately changing one unit for the other unit to a screw casing. ;SOLUTION: A high density slurry shield method unit 20 provided with a screw 21 is equipped in a screw casing 11 of a screw conveyor of a leader 1 in a small-diametral pipe jacking device to form a high density slurry shield method type. On the other hand, a slurry shield method unit 30 provided with a slurry feeding pipe 31 and a slurry discharging pipe 32 is equipped in the screw casing 11 to constitute a slurry shield method type. In this way, one set of leader pipe 1 can cope with both types of the high density slurry shield method and the slurry shield method by alternately changing and installing the high density slurry shield method unit 20 and the slurry shield method unit 30, to the screw casing 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
