PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive the codes of different lengths by deciding a spread code so as to make a sequence obtained by overlapping spread or inversely spread sub sequences be the same as a specified sequence. ;SOLUTION: A means 20 divides the data symbol of a call termination sequence into the sub sequences S1-Sp so as to spread or inversely spread the call termination sequence S by using the spread code C of a length Q. The means 21 (211-21P) spread or inversely spread the respective sub sequences by using the spread code of a length Q0 (Q0/Q is equal to (p)) which is a multiple of the length Q. Then, the sub sequences S1-Sp and the codes C1-Cp are decided so as to make the sequence obtained by overlapping the obtained various spread or inversely spread sub sequences be the same as the sequence obtained by spreading or inversely spreading the call termination sequence by using the code C of the length Q.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
