PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the screen definition information which is not dependent on a data input/output terminal and to form an input screen that is suitable to the data input/output terminal by reading collectively the screen definition information via an external device, generating an input screen based on the screen definition information, and inputting the data through the input screen. SOLUTION: The screen definition information corresponding to plural data input/output terminal equipment 200 are collectively stored via a screen definition part 12 of a host information processor 10. A screen generating part 210 of every equipment 200 forms an input screen from the screen definition information so as to secure coincidence with the specification and form of each terminal. Thus, the screen definition information which is not dependent on the terminal can be defined by the processor 10 and an input screen friendly to users can be shown at the terminal side. Then the information, etc., are collectively read into the equipment 200 from the processor 10, and the echo-back processing, etc., excluding the data processing are carried out by the equipment 200 with no communication performed with the processor 10. As a result, the communication load can be reduced.
