PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition capable of providing fine grains useful for organic resin, etc., as a physical characteristic modifier by blending a spe cific colloidal silica core-silicone shell body with a curing catalyst, emulsifying agent and water. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 pts.wt. colloidal silica core-shell body consisting of (i) 80-5wt.% colloidal silica core and (ii) 20-95wt.% shell of polyorganohydrodienesiloxane expressed by the average composition formula [R1 is (substituted)1-18C monovalent hydrocarbon group containing no ethylenic unsaturated group; R2 is (substituted)1-18C monovalent hydrocarbon group containing an ethylenic unsaturated group; (a) is 1.20-2.01; (b) and (c) are 0.005-0.50; b/c=1/5 to 10/1; (a+b+c)=1.80-2.20] and having 4-400nm average grain size is blended with (B) 1-1X10-6 pts.wt. curing catalyst, (C) 1-20 pts.wt. emulsifying agent and (D) 50-1000 pts.wt. water to provide the objective composi tion. Furthermore, the above-mentioned composition is cured to form into a fine particle by subjecting the composition to a heat treatment at =25 deg.C, thus providing the objective silicone fine particle.
