PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission for an inboard/outboard engine having a torque limiter device to reduce the transmission shock during the transmission and increase the service life of a clutch. ;SOLUTION: In a power transmission for an inboard/outboard engine to transmit the output of an inboard engine 2 to a propeller 11 through a main clutch mechanism 8 having a transmission mechanism 9, a multiple disk clutch mechanism 4 as a torque limiter mechanism to prohibit the transmission of the torque of not less than a specified value is interposed between an output shaft 3 of the inboard engine and an input shaft 7 of the main clutch mechanism.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
