PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil-like body binding strip which prevents a worker from being injured by the vigorous springing of the binding strip, and is capable of shortening the binding time of a coil-like without any damage when a coil is bound or unbound. ;SOLUTION: A coil-like binding strip is used to bind a steel sheet coil of coil-like body, and provided with a strip part 11, a binding part 13 comprising a first binding part 131 and a second binding part 132, and a temporary locking part 12 of a rubber magnet. In a method for binding the coil-like body using the coil-like body binding strip, the binding is unbound by holding one end of the coil-like body binding strip since surface fastener is used for the binding part. As soon as the binding is unbound, one end of the coil-like body binding strip is not sprung up in an unprepared manner, and a worker is prevented from being injured.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
