FINE PARTICLE HAVING SURFACE HYDROXAMIC GROUP CAPABLE OF CHELATING METALLIC ION AND MIXED WALL OF CROSSLINKED PROTEIN AND POLYSACCHARIDE, ITS PRODUCTION, AND ITS APPLICATION, IN PARTICULAR, TO COSMETIC, MEDICINE AND AGRICULTURAL FOOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine particle, capable of chelating a metallic ion and being easily isolated from a medium, compatible with a living body, and biodegradable. SOLUTION: This fine particle has one or more walls, at least on its surface, of a mixture of at least one type of protein and at least one type of polysaccharide, each crosslinked by a multifunctional, acylating crosslinking agent, preferably through interfacial crosslinking, the agent being capable of forming at least an amide and ester bond, and depending on circumstances, an anhydride bond between protein and polysaccharide amino, hydroxyl or carboxyl group, and also has hydroxamic group on the surface to chelate a metallic ion. Therefore, the fine particle is applicable to cosmetic or medicine, because of its capacity of chelating or releasing a metallic ion.
