PURPOSE: To obtain a signal to be demodulated by implementing stereo full separation in response to the selectivity of a tuner and sharing an input signal for FM multiplex demodulation and an input signal for stereo demodulation so as to amplify simultaneously signal levels at an FM multiplex signal band. ;CONSTITUTION: A selectivity setting means 1 revises the selectivity in the intermediate frequency band characteristic of an FM stereo turner, and a frequency characteristic correction means 5 corrects the frequency characteristic so as to obtain a stereo full separation in response to the set selectivity. Then a stereo demodulator 7 implements stereo demodulation by the output of a frequency characteristic correction means 5 and an FM multiplex demodulator 9 implements FM multiplex demodulation. The frequency characteristic correction means 5 implements the adjustment to make the level or the phase of signals at a stereo sub signal band according to the necessity to obtain the stereo full separation, and the levels of signals at the FM multiplex signal band are amplified simultaneously through the correction of the frequency characteristic to obtain the signal subjected to FM multiplex demodulation processing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
