PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a newspaper having double-spread faces at a plurality of arbitrary places in a newspaper of one section. ;SOLUTION: In a method wherein running papers P₁, P₂ of which both surfaces are printed by a pair of newspaper rotary presses 5, 6 are folded firstly to produce a newspaper, the central parts of the running papers P₁, P₂ are cut by slitters 7, 8 to divide the running papers into operation side papers P₁H, P₂H and drive side papers P₁G, P₂G and one side paper (drive side paper P₁G) of either one of the side papers is firstly folded by a first triangle 15 and guided by a guide member to be introduced into the arbitrary pages of main paper composed of the side papers other than one side paper of either one of side papers (operation side papers P₁H, P₂H, drive side paper P₂G) and firstly folded by a second triangle plate 20 to produce a newspaper having spread surfaces at a plurality of places.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
