PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately read a two-dimensional code and also to reduce decoding time of the two-dimensional code even if distortion exists in the two-dimensional code in a fetched image in two-dimensional code reading. SOLUTION: A specific pattern showing a cell array position of a two-dimensional code area is scanned (S300), the center position of a prescribed cell is calculated as a reference position (S310), the inclination of two sides adjacent to the side of a test line set object is also calculated (S320), the inclination corresponding to each reference position is calculated (S350) by proportionally dividing the difference value between the inclinations of the two sides based on the reference position (S330 and S340), and a test line is set based on the inclination (S360). In this test line setting processing, an angle operation using a trigonometric function is never performed by using quantity called 'inclination'.
