A method of insect inhibition, using 1-aril-3-acetylpyrazole formula (I) compound, wherein R2 is hydrogen, halogen, nr6r7, - S (o) nr8, C (o) R8, C (o) or9, pitch, hadoloquilo, - or9, o-n = C (R10) (R11);R1 is S (O) mR5, R3 is halogen or hydrogen; R4 is halogen, haloalkyl, haloalkoxy, -S (O) pCF3o -SF5; R5 is alkyl or haloalkyl; R6 and R7 independently are hydrogen, alkyl, haloalkyl, -C (O) R8, -C (O) OR8, -S (O) qCF3 or together R6 and R7 form bivalent unradical (C4-C8),alkylene, alkylene oxyalkylene or alkyleneaminoalkylene, to preferably form a morpholine, pyrrolidine, piperidine or piperazine ring; R8 is alkyl or haloalkyl; R9 is alkyl, haloalkyl or hydrogen; R10 is R9 or alkoxy; R11 is alkylhaloalkyl; or phenyl or heteroaryl optionally substituted by hydroxy, halogen, alkoxy, -S (O) rR8, cyano, R8 or combinations thereof; R12 is cyano, nitro, alkoxy, haloalkoxy, -S (O) s-alkyl, -S (O) 5-haloalkyl, C (O) -alkyl, C (O) -haloalkyl, C (O) O-alkyl, C (O) O-haloalkyl, aminocarbonyl, alkylaminocarbonyl, dialkylaminocarbonyl, hydroxy, aminosulfonyl, alkylaminosulfonyl, or dialkylaminosulfonyl; X is nitrogen or C-R13,R13 is a halide; m, N, P, Q, R and s represent Kuno, 0, 1 or 2, respectively; or a salt acceptable as a pesticide.
