The invention concerns an illuminated module in the shape of a figure, a letter, a logo, sign or symbol characterised in that it is hollow in the centre, and its walls are formed by plates or castings of different materials. The front is made from a transparent material of different colours which takes on the shape of the sign and is waterproof. The back is also in the shape of the sign and holds the bulbs used to light the unit; it is fitted into the module. The module is equipped with a system of screws and bolts allowing the module(s) to be assembled onto a base in order to use several signs if necessary, and to fix them to the wall.
