Invention Patent: B "NEW EXPRESSION VECTORS CONTAINING BINDING GENES TO ACCESSORY MOLECULES AND THEIR USE FOR IMMUNE MODULATION AND TREATMENT OF MALIGNITIES AND AUTO-IMMUNE DISEASE" D. The present invention relates to genes which encode ligands to the accessory molecule and their use for immunomodulation, vaccination and treatments for various human diseases, including malignancies and autoimmune diseases. The present invention also describes the use of ligands to the accessory molecule, which are made up of various portions of domains and subdomains of molecules derived from the tumor necrosis factor family. The chimeric molecules of the present invention contain unique properties which lead to the stabilization of their activities and, thus, greater effectiveness in the treatment of diseases. Vectors for expression of genes which encode the molecules of the present invention are also discussed.
