"The process of obtaining artemisinin from Artemisia annua L.'', comprising the use of a classical extraction process, together with an extraction process in series,So that the solutions obtained in these two cases are treated with activated carbon for about 1.5 hours at room temperature.And then filtered on earth diatomite; achieving a staining solution is dark yellow.In which was added a portion of precipitated silica; and the solvent is distilled off and the solid obtained (flour) is placed in an extractor adapted with mechanical agitation, the elution of the mixture COm hexane and hexane / ethyl acetate subsequ00b3ente 15% made it possible to obtain artemisinin with 91% and purity.
