"ADSORPTION PROCESS WITH PRESSURE OSCILLATION TO EXTRACT A MORE PREFERRED GAS FROM A MIXTURE OF THE MOST PREFERRED GAS AND LESS PREFERRED GAS". The present invention relates to the recovery of low-purity gaseous oxygen from the top of an adsorbent vessel into a receiving tank to be used as a purge reflux gas. Void gas recovery results in improved process efficiency. The invention can also employ a simultaneous evacuation from the top of the adsorber to remove low purity void gas while the main waste evacuation step is being conducted. These simultaneous recovery of top vacuum gas in co-current and evacuation of waste in countercurrent from both ends of the adsorber allows a total increase in product recovery between 3-5% over that of conventional processes.
