READING OF A SENSOR THAT TEMPORARILY STORES AN IMAGE, FOR X-RAY MAMOGRAPHY WITHOUT FILM, FOR X-RAY RADIOLOGY WITHOUT FILM, AND ELECTRIC FOR PROCESSING SIGNS OF A SEGMENTED PLATE WITHOUT APPROPRIATE Degradation IN THE SECTIONAL SENSATION INTERFACES "image plates" without film (20) that are particularly effective in industrial and medical radiology applications including high resolution without limiting it. Together, the sensor plates (20) provide fast productions of high resolution images that exhibit greater sensitivity and a wider dynamic range than current X-ray systems. The innovative sensor board structures (20) provide images with attributes of greater sensitivity; the dual plate design (20) provides higher pixel reading speed and dual differential energy image production; and isolated segments (102A-H) through which several pixels are read simultaneously to reduce the overall image processing time. Generally, the plates (20) employ a homogeneous photoconductive material such as amorphous selenium and are read by exposing each pixel-sized area to a small diameter scanning beam. Using the light beam scan, the resulting design of the plate (20) promises low-cost manufacturing for the sensor plates (20). The innovative application of electric fields during the preparation, exposure and reading of the plate (20) increases the performance of the sensor plate (20).
