An auxiliary equipment especially for large prams in the form of a battery-powered drive unit for drive engagement with a pair of pram wheels. The unit is fitted between the lower side members of the pram chassis and has drive disks 18 with projecting journals for the respective wheel. On the drive disks are projecting drive studs 17, which when the ordinary pram wheels are inserted enter into driving engagement with the internal spokes in the wheels, providing a simple and effective means of drive engagement with the wheels.
