Process for the production of granules of inorganic salts, which comprises providing a salt feedstock in molten condition; converting said molten feedstock into dispersed molten drops by causing it to flow and applying a force on said molten feedstock flow, capable of dividing said feedstock into said drops and dispersing said drops, said force being either generated by a stream of air or water or is a centrifugal force created by a rotational movement of a centrifugal granulator, through which the flow of the molten feedstock passes; cooling said drops.
