The mast has a base (10) and three sections (2, 3, 4) which fold flat when not in use. The base has feet (11) at its corners. The lower section (4) of the mast (1) is hinged (7) to the base. The middle and upper parts (3, 2) are hinged (5, 6) together. The mast is erected by hydraulic actuators and then supported by a prop (20) and guying cables (30, 31).
