Screening assembly for the screening of work on an outer wall (1) having a number of support brackets (2; 39) and a flexible screen (3) which, in operative condition, extends downwards, curtain-shaped, between said support brackets (2; 39). The support brackets each comprise first and second supports (4, 5, 28, 29; 44, 45) for bearing, in operative condition, against an elevated support element. The flexible screen (3) is provided with guide means (8) and the support brackets are provided with guide means (9; 41) cooperating therewith. Thus, a very simple and low-wear manner of fastening the screen (3) of a work-on system is realized.
