The lead board (1) for the support, cutting and movement of sheet lead is provided with a cutting device (2), a movement mechanism, a displaceable sheet part (4), an adjustable stop piece and a lead drawbar (3). The cutting device is movably fixed to a shaft (14) on a frame (13). The lead board is provided with feet (15,16) acting as supports of the drawbar (3), over which the roll of sheet lead (4) is moved. With the downward movement of the cutting device the sheet lead is severed.
