A process is described for preparing Polyurethane Film which comprises Two Steps.The First Step includes preparing Prepolymer formulations of nonionic, diisocyanate Prepolymer formulation comprising an active Hydrogen containing material, and a Monol.The second step comprises preparing an aqueous dispersion of the Prepolymer, in the presence of surfactant. Both steps occur in substantial absence of an organic solvent.Also described is a polyurethane Film and an aqueous dispersion useful for preparing such Films.The present Invention has the advantage of having improved stability of Constant effort. The Dispersions of the invention does not settle or coagulate prematurely.Moreover, The Films of the present Invention include dermal irritants that occur in rubber latex.The Films and dispersions of the present Invention are suitable for use in applications such as Medical Applications.
