The circuit breaker has a box made from an insulating material, divided by a partition (20) into forward (12) and rear (14) compartment. It has a control member connected to a pole shaft (78) set in bearings fixed to the box, poles with separable contacts, and dividers between the poles, with the pole shaft axis of rotation located in the rear compartment. Each of the dividers has a separator molded with the intermediate partition and supports the shaft bearings; the partition also has an aperture for a coupling between the pole shaft and control member.
