The screen is a rotating drum (3), and the drum is situated in a mainly enclosed housing (1) with the housing being connected to a vacuum suction system. The solid material discharge from the rotating drum (3) is connected to a downstream centrifuge (10), by a mainly enclosed pipe system (9). A weighing cell (16) for cuttings is connected to the centrifuge (10).
