PHARMACOLOGICAL COMPOSITION IN THE FORM OF SELF-EMULSIFIABLE FORMULATION OF LIPOPHYLIC COMPOUNDS

Pharmaceutical composition comprises active, mixture of diglyceride and monoglyceride, solvents and surfactants. - Pharmaceutical composition comprises: (a) a lipophilic active agent; (b) a mixture of diglyceride and monoglyceride in a wt. ratio of 9:1-6:4 (diglyceride:monoglyceride); (c) = 1 solvents and (d) = 1 surfactant. The diglyceride and monoglyceride are mono- or di-unsaturated fatty acid esters of glycerol having a chain length of 16-22C. Also included is an INDEPENDENT CLAIM for a self emulsifying formulation vehicle for lipophilic active agents which comprises (b), (c) and (d) as above.
