The invention relates to processing metals by cutting, in particular, to cutting tools intended for drilling of deep apertures. The spiral drill for deep drilling contains two basic cutting edges and two teeth. The basic cutting edges and forward surfaces of teeth in cross-section have the radius R,and R = (2 - 3)d, where d û diameter of a drill. The value of a double angle in the plan is within the limits of 140 - 150 DEGREE . The invention allows to reach effect of self-crushing and packing of a shavings in the chip channels.
