The invention relates to the DNA sequence coding novel protein G1, able to contact or interact directly or mediately with MORT-1 and/or with any proteins which contact with MORT-1, and able to mediate an intracellular influence mediated by FAS-R or p55-TNF-R. Also disclosed is the preparation of such recombinant protein, methods for simulation of cells death or inflammatory processes in vitro methods for simulation of apoptotic processes or processes of the programmed cells death in vitro, and also pharmaceutical composition including the protein G1 as an active ingredient.
