COMPOSITIONS OF POLY(PHENYLENE ETHER),POLY (ARYLENE SULFIDE),POLYESTER RESINS,AND A COMPATIBILIZER COMPOUND

Improved compositions are provided which comprise apoly(phenylene ether) resin, a poly(arylene sulfide) resin, a polyesterresin, and a compatibilizer compound. The compositions can furthercomprise functionalizing agents, impact modifiers, flame retardants, andreinforcing fillers to provide compositions that exhibit improved tensilestrength and elongation characteristics. Articles molded from thesecompositions are useful in the electrical connector industry.
