Procedure for the recovery of aluminum and energy from used "tetrabrick" type containers and an oven to carry it out. Procedure for the treatment of used tetrabrick type containers from which the paper has previously been recovered, for separating aluminum from one side and on the other, the products of pyrolysis of polyethylene that can be used, mainly, due to their energy content.The product to be treated is passed through a chamber whose walls are at a temperature between 300 and 500ºC and are inclined to collect, in a container, the heavy fraction of polyethylene pyrolysis, while the light fraction, which volatilizes, burns.The process is carried out in an oven containing a series of plates, inside which the heating gas circulates, the upper surface of which is shape of an inverted cone, with a hole at the vertex through which the axis passes and drains the heavy fraction of the pyrolysis that was collected and separate from aluminum.
