Telephone line interface for developing applications based on interactive voice recognition and speech synthesis. Card to be connected to a personal computer PC type, capable of interacting with a telephone line (Switched Telephone Network). It has such characteristics that offers all the possibilities necessary for the development and implementation of interactive voice applications that make use of recognition and speech synthesis: input / output audio card speech recognition, coding / compression of speech and conversion text-speak; and possibility of detecting the states of the telephone line, answering and hanging up automatically, touchtone detection, monitoring the audio signal flowing through the line and echo reduction. All these functions can be controlled from a personal computer PC type using the driver has also been developed. The card consists of: (1) control block, (2) duplexer phone with level adaptation and simple echo attenuator (return hybrid), (3) detector and decoder touchtone, (4) detector ringtone , (5) hung detector (line polarity), (6) signal adapters headphone and recording tape, and (7) driving circuits relays line.
