It PRESENTS A NEW TECHNIQUE FOR DETERMINING THE MASKING EFFECT OF AN AUDIO SIGNAL TO PROVIDE THAT TRANSPARENT compression is used in an audio signal PLEASANTLY REDUCED SPEED BITS. The new technique uses the results of recent research of psychophysical masking the noise in the human auditory system. Research suggests that NOISE Masquerading is a function of the fluctuation in the sound as perceived by the brain. MEASUREMENTS ARE USED Fluctuation LOUDNESS FORMING NOISE MASKING THRESHOLD FOR USE IN COMPRESSION AUDIO SIGNALS. These measurements are used in a framework analysis by synthesis, illustratively subband.
