COOLING AIR CIRCUIT AND PLATE VALVE IMPROVEMENTS FOR AN OILLESS AIR COMPRESSOR

An improved oilless air compressor which is drivenby a high speed universal motor. A sprocket and beltdriven pulley are arranged to reduce the compressorspeed. A motor driven fan and baffles are provided todirect cooling air in predetermined sequences over themotor and compressor components to increase theoperating life of the compressor components, to optimizethe compressor efficiency and to reduce the temperatureof the compressed air output. The compressor isprovided with improved intake and exhaust valves.
