An electrical transdermal drug applicator provides enhanceddrug flow to the bloodstream of the subject by delivering aprimary drug into a subject's circulatory system for therapeuticpurposes, and delivering from the same or other reservoir a nontherapeutic counteracting agent to the skin of the patient whichinduces flow enhancement and allows delivery of the primary drugsystemically over a longer period of time and in greater quantitythan heretofore appeared possible using electric current.
