METHOD OF REFRIGERATION CASE SYNCHRONIZATION FOR COMPRESSOR OPTIMIZATION

A method of controlling a plurality of commonlypiped compressors for a refrigeration system having aplurality of refrigeration cases including the steps ofsensing a suction pressure of the refrigeration system,determining whether the sensed suction pressure is withina predetermined pressure range, and turning compressors ONor OFF in stages until the suction pressure is within thepredetermined pressure range. The method also includes thesteps of sensing a case temperature for each of therefrigeration cases if the sensed suction pressure iswithin the predetermined pressure range and determiningwhether the sensed case temperature is within apredetermined temperature range. The method furtherincludes the steps of turning selectively the load of therefrigeration cases ON and OFF until the case temperatureis within the predetermined temperature range if the sensedcase temperature is not within the predeterminedtemperature range and ending the method if the sensed casetemperature is within the predetermined temperature range.
