GRANULAR DETERGENT COMPOSITION CONTAINING SECONDARY (2,3) ALKYL SULFATE SURFACTANT AND A BLEACH/BLEACH ACTIVATOR SYSTEM

A granular detergent composition containing a secondary (2,3) alkyl sulfate surfactant and a bleach/bleach activator system which hasimproved cleaning performance is provided. The detergent composition comprises: (a) from about 1 % to about 40 % of a secondary (2,3)alkyl sulfate surfactant; (b) from about 0,005 % to about 5 % of an enzyme; (c) from about 0,5 % to about 20 % of a peroxygen bleachingagent; and (d) from about 0,5 % to about 20 % of a bleach activator. The peroxygen bleaching compound and the bleach activator are in amolar ratio from about 1:1 to about 9:1. The detergent composition is stable, exhibits superior cleaning and contains a more biodegradablesurfactant.
