A television system in which two-way television setscommunicate with a server via a communication network.Each interactive television includes a program controlunit for controlling interactive data exchange between aviewer, a response receiving unit for identifying aresponse from the viewer to the program from inputsignals to the television, and a communication controlunit for controlling communications with other nodes.The server includes a communication control unit forcontrolling communications with other nodes, a programinformation DB storing procedures in units of programs, aresponse processing function for arranging response datain units of programs.
