COSMETIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING A CATIONIC POLYMER AND AN ACRYLIC TERPOLYMER, AND USE OF THIS COMPOSITION IN THE PROCESSING OF KERATIN SUBSTANCES

Cosmetic composition containing a cationic polymer and an acrylic terpolymer and use of this composition for treating keratin materials. The present application relates to cosmetic compositions containing, in a cosmetically acceptable aqueous medium, at least one cationic polymer and an acrylic terpolymer, as well as the use of these compositions for treating keratin materials. The acrylic terpolymer comprises: a) about 20 to 70% by weight of an unsaturated carboxylic acid .alpha, .beta.-monoethylenic unsaturation;. b) about 20 to 80% by weight of a monoethylenically unsaturated monomer non-surfactant different from a) and c) about 0.5 to 60% by weight of a nonionic urethane monomer which is the reaction product of a nonionic surfactant with a monohydric monoethylenically unsaturated monoisocyanate. The invention particularly relates to hair products containing, when in non-rinsed form, vinylpyrrolidone acrylate or methacrylate copolymers of dialkylaminoalkyl, quaternized or non-quaternized or polymers of vinylpyrrolidone and of vinylimidazole.
