A method and apparatus in a distributed data processing system for processingclass files. Afirst data structure is received at a server. The first data structureincludes a plurality of bytecodesand optimized content. A set of elements is identified in the optimizedcontent. The set of elementsis stored. Responsive to a request from a client, a second data structure iscreated. This second datastructure includes the plurality of bytecodes and an element from the set ofelements.
