A method of doing business (10) with minors is disclosed. Consent is obtained from a guardian to open an account for a minor (12), purchasing information is obtained (16) and the minor is permitted to access the account (18). Purchasing information may includespending limits, purchasing restrictions on type of merchandise and services available to the minor, and how the merchandise and services are presented.
