Nucleotide sequences of the apple lrpkm1 gene, encoded amino acid sequence and uses thereof

The apple LRPKm1 gene encoding a leucine rich protein kinase is induced by fungal pathogens, like V. inaequalis and by salicylic acid treatment; uses thereof are described.
