The aim of the invention is to provide an automatically monitored gaming facility that automatically registers and evaluates all game sequences, whereby said facility can be used for table games, especially the game known as Craps ,on a professional basis. The inventive device thus provided for automatic detection of the state of movement and the number of spots on a dice comprises at least one camera with a downstream digital image processor and a computer with an electronic data processing program for identifying the surface of the device and number of spots, whereby said device cooperates with gaming table devices for automatic recognition of the location and amount of bets that are placed by means of chips, especially transponder chips.
