The invention relates to a seismic prospection method wherein a seismic shock is caused in the earth subsoil and seismic data is collected by means of sensors, said seismic data being processed in order to draw useful information concerning the geology of the subsoil, the seismic data containing a signal yo intended to be isolated, said signal yo being present in the seismic data embedded in an additive signal. The method comprises the following steps: 1) calculating for a given integer p a prediction error filter a having p coefficients and cancelling at most the signal yo; 2) applying to the seismic data the self-deconvoluted prediction error filter in order to obtain the filtered data wherein the signal yo is absent; 3) subtracting from the initial data the filtered data in order to obtain the processed data containing the signal yo without the additive signal.
