It is the object of the present invention to provide a method with which it is possible to perform an automatic in-line measurement of the content of compressible gases in a flow of plastic material by measuring corresponding values of pressure and volume of a sample taken out from the flow of plastic material, and an apparatus for use when carrying out the method.
