A clamping system for a peristaltic pump used in combination with a flexible tube segment of a medical liquid infusion set, the system comprising a clamp magazine for holding a plurality of stacked clamps urged towards a clamp expelling opening, a first clamp being located proximal to the opening, each clamp being formed with a slot having a neck portion oriented to face the flexible tube, and an urging mechanism arranged for expelling the first clamp through the opening towards the flexible tube into clamping engagement therewith.
