The molding composition contains, based on the total weight of the components A to D and optionally E, the total 100 wt .-%, a: 5 to 94 wt .-% of at least one polyarylene ether as component A, b: 4 to 93 weight .-% of at least one polyarylene sulfide used as component B C: 1 to 20 wt .-% of at least one carboxyl group-containing polyarylene ether as component C, D: 1 to 20 wt .-% of at least one impact-modifying rubber, which has to carboxyl reactive functional groups, as component D, e: 0 to 50 wt .-% of further additives as component E.
