A fluid raw material F which contains three or more components is separated efficiently into three or more compartments A to C. In one preferable example for the chromatographic separation apparatus, a shutoff valve is provided in one position of a circulation flow passage in a unit filling layer group which forms an endless series circulation flow passage, fluid-raw-material supply means 1F to 10F, desorption- agent supply means 1D to 10D and two-compartment-portion pulling-out means 1A to 10A, 1C to 10C are provided, and a one-fluid-compartment-portion pulling-out means which is connected to the circulation flow passage is provided on the upstream side of the shutoff valve and without the intermediary of a unit filling layer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
